Making our website and services accessible

Making our website and services accessible

Rainford Fleet Solutions Ltd is committed to making our website and services accessible to as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities and those who use assistive technologies. We want visitors to be able to understand our services, explore vehicle-funding options and contact us without unnecessary barriers. This statement applies to: www.rainfordfleet.co.uk

Our accessibility goal

We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, Level AA, commonly known as WCAG 2.2 AA. These guidelines explain how digital content can be made more accessible to people with a wide range of access needs, including people with visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive and neurological impairments. We have not yet commissioned a complete independent WCAG accessibility audit. We therefore do not claim that every part of the website currently conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA.

Using this website

We aim to make the website clear and straightforward to navigate; usable with a keyboard wherever reasonably possible; compatible with commonly used browsers and assistive technologies; structured with meaningful headings and page titles; readable using clear language, suitable text sizes and appropriate colour contrast; responsive across desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices; understandable without relying solely on colour; supported by alternative text for meaningful images; and equipped with clear labels and instructions on enquiry forms. You should be able to use browser controls to zoom into the website. Most modern browsers also allow you to change text size, colours and contrast or use reading and speech-recognition tools.

Known accessibility limitations

We are reviewing the website to identify and correct accessibility barriers. Some areas may not yet meet our intended standard. Video content: Some explainer videos may not currently include synchronised captions, audio descriptions or complete text transcripts. If you cannot access information contained in a video, contact us and we will provide the information in a reasonable alternative format. PDF documents and third-party documents: Documents supplied by lenders, leasing companies, manufacturers or other third parties may not always be fully accessible. Some older PDF documents may not be correctly structured for screen-reader use or keyboard navigation. If you need an accessible version of a document, please contact us. Third-party services: Parts of our service may rely on websites, application forms, documents or systems operated by funders, suppliers and other third parties. We do not control the accessibility of every third-party service. However, if a third-party process creates a barrier, please tell us and we will try to help you access the information or complete the process in another reasonable way. Manufacturer badges and promotional images: Some manufacturer badges, vehicle images or promotional graphics may be decorative or contain limited text within the image itself. We aim to provide appropriate alternative text where the image communicates meaningful information. Keyboard navigation and focus indicators: Some interactive components created through our website platform may require further testing to confirm that they can be operated entirely by keyboard and that the current keyboard position is always clearly visible. Forms and validation messages: We aim to use clear labels and instructions on our forms. Some validation or error messages may require further testing with different screen readers and assistive technologies.

Alternative ways to access our services

You do not have to use the website forms to contact us. If any part of the website is difficult to use, we can discuss your requirements by email or telephone and consider a reasonable alternative way of providing the information or service. We may be able to provide information in a simpler written format; in a larger-text electronic format; by email rather than through a website form; by explaining the information over the telephone; or through another reasonable communication method appropriate to your needs. Please tell us what information you need and the format or adjustment that would help you.

Requesting a reasonable adjustment

If you need an adjustment to communicate with us, submit an enquiry, understand a quotation or use another part of our service, please contact us as early as possible. We will consider your request fairly and discuss what reasonable support we can provide.

Reporting an accessibility problem

If you encounter an accessibility problem that is not listed in this statement, please let us know. It will help us investigate if you include: the page or document you were trying to use; the web address, where available; a description of the problem; the device, browser or assistive technology you were using; the format or adjustment you need; and your preferred contact method. You can contact: Adam Rainford, Rainford Fleet Solutions Ltd. Email: adam@rainfordfleet.co.uk. Telephone: 07912 368995. Postal address: Rainford Fleet Solutions Ltd, 100 Liverpool Road, Cadishead, Manchester, Greater Manchester, M44 5AN. Please mark postal correspondence “Accessibility enquiry”.

How we respond

We aim to acknowledge accessibility enquiries within five working days. We will review the issue, explain what we can do and provide an estimated timescale where further work is needed. If we cannot make the requested change immediately, we will consider whether the information or service can be provided in another reasonable way. Complaints: If you are dissatisfied with how we have handled an accessibility request, please contact us and ask for the matter to be treated as a complaint. We will consider it under our Complaints Procedure and explain the outcome and any further options available. Technical information: Our website is built and hosted using Framer. It uses technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The website may not function as intended if JavaScript is disabled. We will nevertheless consider an alternative way of providing information or assistance where the website cannot be used because of an accessibility barrier.

Testing and review

We intend to review the website using a combination of automated accessibility-testing tools; keyboard-only navigation checks; text-resizing and zoom checks; colour-contrast checks; form-label and error-message checks; screen-reader checks where practical; and feedback from website visitors. An automated test alone cannot confirm that a website is fully accessible. We will prioritise improvements based on their effect on users and the importance of the affected service. Preparation of this statement: This statement was prepared on 29 September 2026. It will be reviewed following a significant website change, an accessibility audit, material feedback from a visitor or at least annually. Next scheduled review: September 2027. Rainford Fleet Solutions Ltd. Your fleet. Our priority.
